Flowers close up, Japan - part 1

  

Flowers bloom everywhere in Japan in spring time. Lots and lots of beautiful flowers.

My favorites are cherry blossom and wisteria.

Japanese castles with cherry blossoms

Castles look more beautiful with cherry blossoms around. The castles I visited last week in Japan all are surrounded with cherry blossom trees, they all look amazingly beautiful.

 

Cherry blossom forest in Niigata prefecture Japan

I went to Japan last week for the cherry blossom season. There are many types of cherry blossom trees in Japan, they are different in shape, color and blossoming time.

This deep pink color cherry blossom is called 八重桜, it has many flower petals and blossoms later than other types.

These photos are taken in Niigata prefecture, I love the cherry blossom tunnel so much!

Alice in Wonderland White Rabbit doll

I'm late ! I'm late ! I'm late!

The White Rabbit is my favorite character in Alice in Wonderland, he is so cute and funny!

I love making my version of the White Rabbit.

 

 

Easter wreath with my little birds

This is a wreath I created for Easter. It has my favorite flowers - pansy, lilly of the valley, daffodils.

It seems to be a perfect backdrop for my yellow little birds!

 

 

Needle felt Hershey birds and my roses

Recently I joined a preserved flower workshop, I made a letter H filled with beautiful flowers.

I found the color of this letter H matches very well with my pastel color Hershey birds, so I used it as the backdrop in the photo shooting of my birds.

They are perfect match!

Mini blue bird on flower bed

I love making needle felted birds, starting from this year I am going to give my birds lots of flowers. 

I've made a nice and comfy flower bed for this cute blue bird.
