Easter chick wreath, spring bird accessories

I love making little needle felted chicken.

Last year I created needle felted egg shape nests for my chicks, this year I created beautiful wreaths for them to sit on.

These mini wreaths are perfect as Easter home decoration.

 Moreover, a faux leather strap is attached to the wreath so it can be hung on to your shopping bags.

Jeweled animal brooches

Animals can also look good in jewels.

my tiny craft room

 
Every crafter has his/her own sanctuary for crafting, mine is a tiny spare bedroom in my home.

Storing and organizing crafting supplies is important for me. I have various kinds of supplies : wool, felt, ribbons, beads, findings, clay, silk flowers, dried flowers and moss, metal strands etc.. I need a good and organized storage place for all of my supplies, and easily retrievable at the same time, or else everything will be in a mess and most of my time will be wasted in digging things out instead of crafting.

Due to limited space in my home, all things are densely packed into boxes of various sizes and stored inside a tiny spare bedroom. This bedroom is very small, it barely accommodates a single bed, a closet and a desk. Luckily this room has a big window which allows sufficient light for crafting and taking photos of my work. The window sill is big enough to create setups for product photos, 99% of my photos are taken here.

A flat screen TV is hanged on the wall to provide a bit of entertainment while crafting. This room though small can provide all things I need for a pleasurable weekend. 

Christmas terrarium

Merry Christmas!

I have new Christmas decorations this year. These tiny glass figures are bought from Hokkaido Japan in a beautiful town called Otaru. The main street of Otaru is filled with shops selling beautiful items made of glass and nice cafes, it is a pretty and relaxing place to spend an afternoon. 

I put the Christmas theme glass items inside glass jars and they become wonderful Christmas terrariums.

My handmade owls and Sleeping Beauty

I made a couple of needle felted owls and took some photos of them, the photos turn out to look something like a scene in the Sleeping Beauty. The color tone, the atmosphere and the subjects quite match with the forest scenes. Maybe Sleeping Beauty is the inspiration for my owls and nests but I was not aware of it all the time.

Robin birds in snow

When I think of old Christmas cards robin birds with winter berries often come to my mind. This combination is so warm and adorable, I love it so much. 

It inspired me of making these cute ornaments - robin birds in snowballs
