Blue crab

Spotted a very cute blue crab on ETSY yesterday, then a very eye catching 'dog on the beach' painting, they striked a beautiful blue tone picture in my mind so I created an aqua treasury.

Yellow and Purple

Treasury making on etsy becomes my daily activity, I make at least 1 treasury each day. The inspiration of my treasury usually comes from an item of an etsy member. I pick an inspiration item, then search for other items that match well with this item.
Today I made 2 treasuries using 2 items from 2 etsy sellers who featured my products in their previous treasuries TWICE!!

BLUE BERRIES AND GRAPES

24th Sept International Rabbit Day

2 days ago I was invited to join an etsy team - Etsy Rabbits Team , and from their blog I learned that there is a day called International Rabbit Day , it is on the 4th Saturday of September every year.

I really love bunnies. 4 months ago I visited a "cat & rabbit cafe" in Japan, there were dozens of cats and bunnies for you to touch and hug!!! The cats and bunnies were sooooo adorable!! Here are some of them

Mid Autumn Festival

It's Mid Autumn Festival today! Everybody is meeting their families, having wonderful dinners and enjoying moon cakes and fruits. There are mid autumn festival illumination displays and parties all round the city. This traditional Chinese festival is so much fun especially for children, they have lots of lanterns, candles, wax, glow in the dark stuffs to play with. When I was small I used to have a big orange star fruit lantern, I treasured it alot, and used it year after year until it was unfit to take out and show people.

I never played with any lantern after I've grown up, this year is my first year to buy a lantern again. Of course my choice is star fruit lantern. It brings back so much childhood memories.

So fond of UNI (sea urchins)

Uni (Japanease word for sea urchin) is one of my favorite sashimi (raw seafood). Uni tastes so good when fresh! Uni with rice is perfect combination, that becomes uni sushi, my favorite sushi!!!

Uni tastes great when it is still alive, and looks great when it is dead. I love the beauty of a shaved, dead and dried uni.

Recently I bought a few items from an etsy shop called SEAURCHIN. I love the work of this artist so much! The patterns she made on her ceramics are gorgeous!! They resemble fossils and corals.

This flower plate is so delicately made, there are parts at the centre that is so thin that light pierces through it. It becomes an awesome backdrop for my bird pendant. Maybe this lighting effect enhanced the attractivenss of my bird pendant, my bird pendant was sold within 2 hours after being listed on etsy. Thank you Lisa for providing me with such a gorgeous backdrop!
